opinio ("the App") is developed by Ryan Gerrard ("we", "our", "us"). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What We Collect

When you use the App, we collect:

• Account information — your Apple ID identifier (provided through Sign in with Apple), the display username you choose, and the date you joined.
• Usage data — your votes, predictions, and associated timestamps on daily polls.

We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal information beyond what is listed above. Sign in with Apple may provide a private relay email address; we do not store or use it.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to operate the App: displaying polls, recording your votes and predictions, calculating results, and showing your personal stats. We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

The App uses Google Firebase for authentication, data storage, and cloud functions. Firebase processes data in accordance with Google's privacy policy. We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account exists. When you delete your account through the App, your profile and credentials are permanently deleted. Your past votes and predictions are anonymized so that aggregate poll results remain accurate.

Your Rights

You can delete your account and all associated personal data at any time from the Profile screen within the App. If you have questions or need assistance, contact us at the address below.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
